Our evening tradition of reading a couple of chapters in the Bible and praying together as a family always ends with us tucking in our kids. I’ll tuck in one as my husband tucks in the other and then we swap.

These past few nights my daughter has been asking for a mommy/daughter date.

She asked if we could go to a tea shop that serves these cute little sandwiches, soup and fruit.

I kiss her forehead and with all my heart agree to take her one day soon, but my mind visualizes my current schedule and reminds me how busy I am.

Since I’m a stay at home mom, you’d think I would have all the time in the world to take my little princess to a tea luncheon but reality is I’m too busy.

Keep a flexible schedule for your family.

To read how I fixed this problem and how I made time for my daughter go to The Brown Tribe. Make Time for Your Kids.
