Not I.

Sometimes, to be completely honest, I wish I was. Proverbs 19:21

I can get full of myself and act like I’m in control. It usually comes crashing down in a comical fail, like tripping over air. I feel the need to make sure I’m protected and have everything under control in my world so I don’t get hurt by others. I’ve learned that apparently I’m not Super Starla. Big shocker! I may feel like things will be better if done a certain way; however I’m not God. This is His universe, not mine. I didn’t create this universe. I wasn’t there when it was set on it’s foundation.

God is in control. God is enough.

I must let down my guard and all the things I do that gives me a false hope of control and peace and lay it at God’s feet. Step back. Take a deep deep breath. and. Trust. in. God.

I’m not sure where the disconnection was made within me to not trust God with everything I have. Maybe I never really had it. It’s a real struggle within me.

The awesome news is…God is in control! He is enough for me. So as I learn to let go and let God, I want to encourage all my friends to soak in the peace of knowing that God is for us, not against.
In the good and bad, God has us. All things happen for the purpose of molding us into the women, wives and moms that we are meant to be. All for His glory. He is worth it. Romans 8:28, Jeremiah 29:11

Let’s encourage each other to place all of our unmet needs and unmet expectations in God’s hands. He is more than capable of managing our lives. Trust God. He will see you through. Let’s let our joy be in Him. Let’s guard our thoughts, words, and responses to others. Giving all those unmet needs and expectations to Him.

Pray. Ask God to sit with you and look at the need or pain. He is big enough to take care of it. Tell him, Lord, see this. See this need of mine. Please fill it or take the need away from me.

At the end of the day, all that matters is our relationship with our Lord.

God is in control. God is enough. Jeremiah 32:27, Psalm 9:10

I love the song Oceans by Hillsong United.  I want the joy, peace and closer walk with Christ as I learn to deeply trust in our Savior.

Be encouraged my friends.
