Powerful Bible Verses For Not Giving Up

Sipping her tea, that had now grown cold, she stared at her open bible. Searching for Bible verses for not giving up.

The verses and stories that had once given her hope and renewed her heart now stared blankly back at her. The black letters now merged with the white page and blurred grey as tears filled her eyes.

It’s been a long road and she was tired. As if she was standing in the eye of the storm, trapped in slow motion, as it raged around her.

A tear slid down her cheek and clipped the edge of her Bible. The only words that her mind would allow to escape her lips. Jesus. Jesus please help, she whispered.

She reached for her truth journal, reminding herself that even when she doesn’t feel it, God is working in the back ground and this hard season will end.

“Don’t give up!”, she reminded herself. “Keep pressing forward.”

Writing her reality down in her journal and then covering it in God’s truth.

When you don’t have strength to take another step, find your strength in God.

What Does The Bible Say About Not Giving Up

The Bible has a lot to say about not giving up. In fact, there are many verses that are about “perseverance” or “endurance.” The word endure in the NKJV alone is mentioned 42 times. The Bible is clear that we are to persevere in our faith, even when things are tough. We are to never give up, but instead to keep going and to trust in God.

The Bible tells us that we will face trials and tribulations in this life, but we are not to give up. We are to persevere and to trust in God. He will never leave us or forsake us. We are to keep our eyes on Him and to never give up hope.

The Bible is full of stories of people who faced great trials and tribulations, but they did not give up. Look at Job, Queen Esther, Ruth and Naomi, Hannah, and even Paul faced many many up hill battles. They persevered and trusted in God. He always came through for them. And He will do the same for us. We just need to never give up and to keep our eyes on Him.

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9

God Never Gives Up On You

Whether it’s problems with your marriage, kids, school, finances, car, house, health, career or all the above. There is light at the end of the tunnel.

In every decision you make, choose to honor God.

By honoring God through these hard times in life, He will lift you up. He will see you through. He will guide your steps. He will put you where He wants you. He will turn you into the person He wants you to be. He will protect you. He will bring healing and restoration to the broken.

It may take time and I think that is why the bible encourages so often to not give up.

Don’t let go of Jesus! You don’t know how many times I’ve cried out to Jesus to pray for me. Did you know He intercedes for us?

That’s right! The Bible tells us Jesus is interceding on our behalf. Also, the Holy Spirit prays for us as well. (Romans 8:26-27)

Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. Romans 8:34  (NKJV)

How reassuring it is to know Jesus and the Holy Spirit prays for us!

No matter where we’ve been, He loves us. God loves us so much to never let go. He waits for us to refocus on Him so He can turn our life situations around.

Find your refuge in Him.

Find your peace in Him. Jesus has to be our strength, because on our own we don’t have enough to make it.

Be encouraged by God’s unconditional love! He didn’t just create us and walk away. He is here walking with us. How He delights in us. He loves when we are close to Him. You are precious to Him!

Don’t give up! You’ll be stronger on the other side of this. Your break through may be just around the corner. Don’t stop now!

Who Had To Endure In The Bible

Who had to endure in the Bible? This is a question that has been asked by many people over the years. There are a number of different people who had to endure different things in the Bible. Some of them were good things, while others were bad.

One of the first people who come to mind is Joseph. Joseph was sold into slavery by his brothers and then spent many years in prison. However, he remained faithful to God throughout all of his trials and eventually was able to become the second most powerful man in Egypt.

Another person who had to endure a lot in the Bible was Job. Job lost everything he had – his family, his wealth, and his health. Yet, he remained faithful to God and was eventually rewarded for his faithfulness.

These are just two examples of the many people in the Bible who had to endure different trials and tribulations. However, they both remained faithful to God throughout their trials and were eventually rewarded for their faithfulness.

Faith Produces Perseverance

If you want something badly enough, you have to be willing to persevere through the tough times. That’s where faith comes in.

Faith is believing in something even when the odds seem stacked against you. It’s having hope when things look bleak.

Without faith, it’s impossible to persevere. When things get tough, you have to believe that things will eventually get better.

Otherwise, you’ll just give up. So if you’re facing a difficult situation, remember to have faith. It’s the key to getting through anything life throws your way.

In Luke 18:1, we are told to always pray and not lose heart.
