The Bible Verse of the Day Printable
Inside: The Bible Verse Of The Day
How do you start your day with Jesus? Do you have a collection of morning Bible verses to inspire you each morning?
The best way to begin your day is by praying, reading the Bible, and thanking God for the new day ahead.
When I was a kid, I remember a small, clear plastic box on my parents’ cream-colored dresser. It could fit in the palm of my hand and looked like beautiful crystal with its shiny cuts and designs that sparkled in the light.
Opening the box revealed a stack of rectangular cards with “The Bible Verse of the Day” printed on both sides—these were our daily Bible verses.
We weren’t allowed to spend much time in my parents’ bedroom when I was growing up because it was their private space. But sometimes, they’d ask me to put something away in there or place something on their bed, and I’d always pause by that crystal box and the Bible Verse for the day.
Every morning, my mom would place one of those clean white scripture cards for her and my dad to read as their Bible verse for the day.
I liked reading them too. I’d carefully pick up one of the shiny cards, read the scripture once or twice, and then put it back against the crystal box, thus beginning my day with Jesus.
