For the Wife And Mom Who Is Tired Of Waiting
Are you looking for God’s plan for your life? I’ve been there. Tired. Exhausted. Trying to hold it together, but the frustration that you try so hard to keep a lid on boils over onto your loved ones.
Immediate regret fills your heart for your lack of patience, pushing back the tears at the thought of hurting your loved ones, especially your kids.
You apologize and try harder.
Trying to be everything to everyone. An overwhelming schedule and “To-Do” lists that others tell you should be easy. First one up in the morning and last one to bed at night.
Still tired. Still exhausted. The cycle continues.
Not really knowing the real reason of the exhaustion. Perhaps not sleeping well, poor eating habits, little exercise, not much water intake, desperate for sunshine, and being emotionally spent all rolled into this ball that sits on your chest.
You play it off with a smile on your face and say a quick prayer for God to see you through. When you just want someone to come and make you feel relieved, joyful, important, and worth it.
To be held long enough to cry all your frustrations away. For someone to go out of their way just for you. I mean, we do this for everyone around us, right? Just a little bit in return would be so nice.
You are tired of waiting for things to get better. Something has to change.
How? What?
You should be happy for the great husband, kids, family, friends, house, car, etc that you are blessed with but still something weighs on your heart.
In the pit of your stomach or heavy on your chest you feel the sadness that you cannot shake.
You are tired of waiting.
What do I do when I feel this way?
How to Find God’s Purpose For Your Life
I dive deeper into His word. I set myself time for studying God’s word and I remind myself who I am in Christ.
I evaluate my life.
Is there anything in my life, what I’m doing, watching, reading etc that would hurt God? If so, I get rid of it.
I surround myself with uplifting friends that pray for me.
I crank up the music; some uplifting, fast beat christian music and praise our living God.
I work on eating better and exercising.
I seek God about helping me to let go of the expectations others have of me and the ones I set for myself that are beyond what I should be doing. I acknowledge that I am not super woman, although how cool would that be.
You are enough through Christ. As long as you try your best, what you do is enough. Let go of the worlds standards and just be your best as you live by God’s standards.
Ask God to renew your mind and remind you who you are in Him.
God is enough for you. The bible has all the answers and remedies for our pain. Look up verses that pertain to what you are going through.
Are you feeling abandoned, sad, angry, bitter, hurt, trust has been broken or tired of waiting? There’s a bible verse or story for that. Keep renewing your mind with those scriptures and let yourself dwell on God’s word. Soon enough, you’ll notice a difference. A good difference.
Watch what you allow your mind to dwell on. Remember Philippians 4:8. The Bible tells us to think on good things. Stop yourself when negative thoughts creep in. It may take work at first, but as you continue to focus on the good, you’ll see a change. I did.
All Things Work Together For Our Good
All things work together for good to those who love God. This is because God is sovereign and in control of all things.
He knows what is best for us and His plan for our lives is always for our good and His glory.
When we love God, we trust Him and His plan for us, even when things are tough. We know that He is working everything out for our good and we can rest in His peace and joy.
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28
God’s Purpose for Our Lives
To see Him with all of our being. Remember God is working! He has you. He adores you. Trust Him.
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9
Behind the scenes God is working. We may not see it or feel it, but He is working all things out for the good of those who trust in Him.
Look up Isiah 40:29, Psalm 68:35, Philippians 4:13
Trusting God’s Plan For My Life
I trust that God has a plan for my life as a wife and mother. End on the hard days. I believe that He has a plan for my family and me, and that His plan is good.
I know that His plan is perfect, and that He knows what is best for me.
I trust Him to lead and guide me through whatever challenges and obstacles I may face as a wife and mom.
I am confident in His love for me, and I know that He will never leave us or forsake us.
I am thankful for His goodness, and I praise Him for His perfect plan for our lives.
God Given Purpose
God has given each of us a unique purpose in life. It is our challenge to figure out what that is and to then live it out to the best of our ability. I
t is not always easy to do, but it is always worth it. The satisfaction and fulfillment that comes from living out our purpose is unlike anything else. It is what we were meant to do.
So often, we get caught up in the day-to-day grind and forget about our purpose. But it is always there, waiting for us to remember it and to act on it. Every day is an opportunity to move closer to our goal.
We just have to be brave enough to take the first step.
God has given us everything we need to fulfill our purpose. We just have to have the faith to trust in Him and to follow His guidance. He will never lead us astray. With Him, we can accomplish anything.
God’s Plan For Your Life
God has a specific purpose for your life. He created you with unique gifts and talents, and He has a plan for how you can use them to His glory.
He wants you to grow in your faith, to become more like Him, and to impact the world around you for His kingdom.
He is sovereign and in control, and He will work all things together for your good.
Trust Him with your life, and He will lead you to the path He has for you.
God’s Purpose For Your Life Verses
God has a specific purpose for your life, and He has revealed it to you through His Word, the Bible. These Bible verses will help you understand what that purpose is and how to live it out.
First, Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
This does not mean God will not cause us to walk through suffering. And this doesn’t mean He has huge prosperity plans for you, but He does have a plan for your wellbeing.
“Your plans may evaporate. Your dreams may be crushed. Your life may be snuffed out. But the God who raised Jesus from the dead will raise you up with him.” Gospel Coalition
Second, Ephesians 2:10 says, “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
God’s plan for your life is for you to mirror Christ. To do good works that He has prepared in advance. He has a specific plan for your life, and He wants you to follow it.
Third, 1 Peter 4:19 says, “Therefore, those who suffer according to God’s will should commit themselves to their faithful Creator and continue to do good.”
Even when we suffer, we should continue to do good, because that is God’s purpose for our lives. He is our faithful Creator, and He will never leave us or forsake us.
Fourth, Romans 8:28 says, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
God works everything out for the good of those who love Him and who are called according to His purpose. No matter what we go through in life, we can trust that God is working everything out for our good.
These Bible verses show us that God has a specific purpose for our lives, and
He wants us to grow in our faith, do good works, and trust Him even when we suffer. When we live according to God’s purpose, we will experience His blessings in our lives.
God Knows Your Life From Start To Finish
God knows your life from start to finish. He knows every joy and sorrow, every triumph and failure.
He knows your deepest secrets and your most hidden desires. He knows your hopes and your fears.
He knows your strengths and your weaknesses. And He loves you completely, unconditionally, and without reservation.
No matter what you are going through in life, God is with you. He knows what you are going through and He will never leave you or forsake you.
He will see you through to the end. Trust in Him, lean on Him, and follow His lead. He will never let you down.
God Has A Better Plan Verse
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” – Romans 8:28
No matter what life throws our way, we can be confident that God has a better plan for us. He is sovereign and in control, even when things seem out of our control.
We may not always understand His ways, but we can trust that His plan is for our good and His glory.
Prayer For God’s Plan For Your Life
Dear Lord,
I lift up to you the tired wife and the tired mom. Help us as women to not grow weary as we serve our families. Help us to not let negative thinking over take us. Renew us Lord! Be our shield, our refuge, our strength. Refocus us. Restore our joy!! Remind us who we are in you. We are your daughters!! Bring the right friends into our lives that would encourage and pray with us. Help us to let go of expectations and commitments that drag us down. Give us confidence to stand in your word. Help us to be the encourager at home, to be our husband’s crown and a safe place for our kids. Help us to let go and lay at your feet all unmet expectations and needs. Teach us to rely on You for those unmet needs. Renew us. Remind us. You are enough for us. Let our joy be in you! Change us into the women you created us to be. Forgive us of our sins. Convict us for a true change that brings us peace. I love you Lord. You are my King of Kings! In Jesus holy name I ask all this.
Amen.
Let’s be women that pray and encourage each other! Let’s glorify God in our daily life. You got this because God has you! Be encouraged, God knows.
