Stepping Out On Faith Prayer And Bible Verses
Are looking for guidance or help deciding if stepping out on faith is right for you in this season? Sometimes God calls us to a season of needing to reach for the Holy Spirit and step out in faith.
I hope the prayers and bible verses I have listed below help to encourage you today.
Do you feel God calling you to step out on faith? Is He calling you to a career change? A step towards healing your broken pieces? Or perhaps leaving a toxic relationship?
Will you put your complete trust in God, change your lifestyle and your perspective to fit what you are praying for, and follow His lead no matter what? When you do this, you become dependent on His dependability.
Confide in God’s abilities instead of your own when it comes to what He can do for you and through you. It’s important to remember that God is all-powerful and capable of anything, whereas we as humans are limited in our abilities.
Consequently, don’t dwell too much on past failures or let feelings of guilt, shame, brokenness, fear, insecurity, and regret over your sin make you feel as though you’re not good enough to help others as God leads you.
He is waiting for your invitation to increase your faith.
What Does It Mean To Step Out In Faith
Step Out On Faith Meaning: When we step out in faith, we are choosing to trust God instead of our own understanding.
Faith means we are saying that we believe God is who He says He is and that He will do what He says He will do.
Stepping out in faith is not the same as blindly following a path with no idea where it will lead you. God calls us to walk in faith with Him.
When you step out in faith, you are placing your trust in Jesus and His Word. You are making the choice to let God guide your life and future.
Stepping out in faith requires us to let go of our own plans and expectations and to follow God even when we don’t know where He is leading us.
It’s not always easy, but when we step out in faith, we can be confident that God will work everything out for our good and His glory.

What Does The Bible Say About Walking Out In Faith
The Bible has a lot to say about walking out in faith. In Hebrews 11:1, we are told that faith is the evidence of things unseen.
This means that faith is not something that we can see or touch, but it is something that we know is real.
Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. Hebrews 11:1
In order to have faith, we need to be willing to step out in faith and trust God. This can be a scary thing to do, but it is so worth it when we see how God comes through for us.
He always has our best interests at heart and He wants us to trust Him.
When we walk out in faith, we are showing God that we trust Him. This pleases Him and He is able to work mightily in our lives. He is able to do things that we could never do on our own.
Walking out in faith is a way to grow closer to God and to experience His power in our lives.

Stepping Out On Faith Scriptures
Stepping Out In Faith Scriptures
The Bible is full of scriptures that encourage us to step out in faith. Whether it’s taking a stand for our beliefs, or reaching out to help others, faith is always the key.
Here are just a few of the many scriptures that remind us to have faith:
“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” – Hebrews 11:1
“And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” – Hebrews 11:6
“For we live by faith, not by sight.” – 2 Corinthians 5:7
“I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” – Matthew 17:20
“So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.” – Matthew 6:31-32
“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” – Matthew 6:33
These scriptures remind us that faith is always the key, no matter what we’re facing. When we step out in faith, God is always there to guide and support us.

Stepping Out In Faith Bible Story
What is a good Bible story about faith? The women with the issue of blood is one of my favorites! You can read her story in Luke 8:43-48.
A woman, ashamed and desperate for healing, stood just outside the crowd. Broken, frantic, financially exhausted and alone.
Surrounded by a large crowd, He walked through her town. Whispers and rumors of these miraculous healings that He could perform spread like wild-fire in an open prairie.
I imagine she felt like all the other doctors and medicine could not heal her so how could this newcomer possibly do any better, but she had to try. She had nothing left to hope for.
This man named Jesus and the stories of His healing power fanned a flame of hope inside her to try once more.
Twelve years of seeking help with no cure in sight. Waiting on God. Her bank account stood empty. She had to cling to this hope.
She had to see if this Jesus could heal her. Determined, she pressed in.
She pressed through the crowd. Face covered for fear of being discovered. Pushing her way in. Jesus was surrounded by so many, everyone stepping closer to Him, to hear, to touch and to see what He was all about.
She pushed through.
The flames of hope grew every inch that she was able to crawl closer to Jesus. Finally, she made it. She reached out, secretly, almost ashamed to be near Him.
With hope now racing through her, believing with everything in her, she grabbed the end of His robe. It was done. She knew and even felt it. She was healed!
Jesus stopped. He felt power leave Him. “Who touched me.”, He called. Peter, a fisherman turned apostle, was walking with Jesus. Peter asked Jesus what He meant by “who touched Me”.
There was a great multitude of people about Jesus. There could be any number of people “touching” Him.
But no, Jesus knew someone with faith and hope had touched Him. Power left Him and He felt it. She stepped forward. Humbled. Trembling. Admitting that it was indeed her, she touched Him.
With faith and hope, believing He could be her healer. Her salvation!
I wonder if the crowd silenced into a low hush taking a step back. As the woman with an issue of blood, as the bible calls her, must have been known around town.
She fell before Jesus, in awe of Him, in fear of Him, trembling before Him.
Jesus said…
“And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace.”
Luke 8:48
He called her daughter. He gave her comfort. He stopped and gave her favor. Sending her off in peace. Healed. Whole in Him. Jesus loved her. I’m sure she would never forget this moment with the Savior.
You can read the whole story in Luke 8:43-48. If only, friends, we would press into God like never before. Coming broken, struggling with our flesh, finding the One and leaving healed and in peace. Restored.

Should You Be Stepping Out In Faith
The Bible is full of stories of people who stepped out in faith, and it is clear that God often rewards those who take risks for His sake.
In many cases, however, it is also clear that God does not always give us what we want, even when we are acting in faith.
So the question is, should you be stepping out in faith? God wants to be your guide on this.
First, you need to consider what you are being asked to do. If it is something that you feel is clearly against God’s will, then it is probably not a good idea to take the risk.
On the other hand, if you feel like you are being called to do something that is outside of your comfort zone but that could potentially be used by God to further His kingdom, then it may be worth taking the leap of faith.
Ultimately, the decision of whether or not to step out in faith is something that you will need to prayerfully consider. Ask God to give you wisdom and guidance, and trust that He will help you to make the right decision.
