A Better Work From Home Mom Schedule

Are you looking for a better work from home mom schedule? I’m a work from home mom, single mom at that, and I’d like to share what works for me.

As a work from home mom, my schedule is packed.

I usually start my day by spending some time with God in prayer and reading my Bible. This helps me to get my day started on the right foot and helps to set the tone for the day.

I then get my kids up and ready for school and make sure they have breakfast.

They do public school at home and have a tight school schedule with many teachers to balance. After they get started on their school lessons, I start my work day.

I typically work for a few hours in the morning and then take a break in the afternoon for lunch with the kiddos.

I help the kids with any homework or projects they need help with. I also work for a few more hours in the evening before dinner time.

In the evening, I make dinner for the kids and I. We eat together at our little kitchen table. Sometimes after dinner we will play a board game together, watch a movie or the kids go off to their own spaces and talk with their friends.

This is a simple view of my day. This schedule allows me to have quality time with my kids while still being able to get my work done.

“I think every working mom probably feels the same thing: You go through big chunks of time where you’re just thinking, ‘This is impossible—oh, this is impossible.’ And then you just keep going and keep going, and you sort of do the impossible.”

What Is A Good Schedule For A Working Mom

There really is no one-size-fits-all answer to this question, as the best schedule for a working mom will vary depending on her individual circumstances.

However, there are some general guidelines that we can followed in order to create a schedule that works well for both the mother and her family.

First, it is important to create a schedule that allows for plenty of time to spend with God and the family.

This means that working hours should ideally be during the times when the children are in school or otherwise occupied. If possible.

If this is not possible, then working from home or arranging for childcare during the workday can be helpful in ensuring that quality family time is still possible.

In addition, it is important to consider the logistics of the schedule in order to make it as stress-free as possible.

This means planning ahead for things like meals, transportation, and after-school activities.

Having a solid plan in place can help to minimize the amount of chaotic scrambling that often comes with being a working mom.

By following these guidelines, it is possible to create a schedule that works well for both the mother and her family.

By taking the time to plan ahead and consider the needs of everyone involved, it is possible to create a schedule that helps to promote a healthy balance for all.

And don’t be afraid to change your schedule till you find the right fit for you.

How Do You Balance Working From Home As A Mom

As a working mom, it can be difficult to find a balance between work and home life. It is important to set boundaries between work and home so that you can enjoy both aspects of your life.

Sometimes we want to do all the things and want our kids to be involved in everything, but sometimes we have to say no in order to cultivate a peaceful home and to be able to give your spouse and kiddos a calmer mother.

One way to balance working from home as a mom is to create a schedule that works for you and your family. My favorite way to do this is block scheduling. I go over planning our perfect day and schedule HERE.

This schedule should include time for work, time for your children, time for your spouse, time for cleaning, time for God and time for yourself.

It is important to stick to this schedule as much as possible so that you can have a successful work-life balance.

Another way to balance working from home as a mom is to delegate tasks to other members of your family. If you have a partner, ask them to partner with you in tasks such as childcare, housework, and grocery shopping to them when needed.

After all, you are life partners and it is both your responsibility to keep the house and look after the children together, especially if you are both working to make ends meet.

This will free up some time for you to focus on work. If you don’t have a spouse, ask friends or family members to help out when they can. Even if they can watch the kids while you run errands and clean the house would be a huge help.

It is also important to make time for God and for yourself. Working from home can be stressful, so it is important to take some time each day to relax and recharge. This can be done by taking a bath, reading a Bible, or taking a prayer walk.

By following these tips, you can find a balance between work and home life as a working mom.

“Motherhood has taught me the meaning of living in the moment and being at peace. Children don’t think about yesterday, and they don’t think about tomorrow. They just exist in the moment.”

How Do Working Moms Organize Their Day

Working moms have a lot on their plate. A lot! They have to juggle work, parenting, and household duties. So how do they organize their day?

There is no one-size-fits-all answer to this question, as every working mom has her own unique set of circumstances. However, there are some general tips that can help.

First, it is important to have a good support system. I know that may be hard, I’m a single mom and I don’t have family close by.

A good support system may include a spouse or partner, family members, friends, or a professional childcare provider. Having someone to help with the kids can free up some time to get things done.

Second, it is helpful to set priorities. Working moms need to focus on the most important tasks first. This may mean getting up a little earlier to get some work done before the kids wake up, or using nap time to get things done around the house. And going to bed at a good time so you are refreshed for the next day.

Third, it is important to be flexible. Things will inevitably come up that throw off the best-laid plans. Rather than getting frustrated, working moms need to be flexible and adjust as needed.

Fourth, it is important to take care of yourself. This includes getting enough sleep, exercise, and healthy meals. Sometimes self care is doing the hard stuff.

When working moms are well-rested and have energy, they are better able to handle the demands of their day.

By following these tips, working moms can help to organize their day and make the most of their time.

Bible Verses For Work At Home Moms

  1. And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him. And since we know he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for.  1 John 5:14-15
  2. Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing. James 1:2-4
  3. For the Lord is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation. Psalm 100:5
  4. Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me. That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Corinthians 12:9-10
  5. Do everything without complaining and arguing, so that no one can criticize you. Live clean, innocent lives as children of God, shining like bright lights in a world full of crooked and perverse people. Philippians 2:14-15

Being a work from home mom can be a very rewarding job and it is a great way to raise your children.
